John N. McVeigh, III
Mr. McVeigh has been managing Upland Capital since its founding in 1996 and oversees all investment policy and asset allocation decisions. He has more than 30 years of diversified financial markets experience.
Prior to forming this Company, Mr. McVeigh served the CS First Boston Corporation (‘CSFB’), an international investment bank, for eighteen years as a Director and Group Head of the Firm’s non-convertible preferred stock business. At CSFB, his responsibilities included managing proprietary trading capital, coordinating product sales, trading and research activities. Earlier in his career, he held positions at both Weeden and Co. and Spencer Trask and Co. where responsibilities included sales, trading and municipal bond underwriting. Mr. McVeigh received his BS and MBA (Finance) degrees from Syracuse University’s Whitman School of Management. He is a member of the CFA Institute.
